- High speed Internet access highly recommended for download
- A OneTouch® Meter with a data port. (Note: if you purchase a OneTouch® UltraMini® Meter (with data port), you will need to download the OneTouch® Meter Driver.)
- A Windows®-compatible computer with the following components:
- 266 MHz, Intel® Pentium® II processor or equivalent (higher is recommended)
- Minimum 128MB of RAM (higher will help overall performance)
- Minimum free hard disk space: 100-200MB during installation, 100MB for after installation
- Microsoft® Windows® 98 Second Edition, Windows® NT 4.0 Workstation (SP6 or above), Windows® 2000 Professional (SP4 or above), Windows® Me, Windows® XP Home and Professional (SP2 or above), or Windows Vista™
- A USB port or 9-pin/25-pin COM port
- Either:
- Mouse/Trackball
- Keyboard
- Windows®-compatible printer (recommended if you wish to print reports; colour printer recommended if you wish to print in colour)
- Video monitor with at least 800x600 pixel screen resolution and 256 colours
- CD-ROM drive or Internet connection

- If you are using Windows Vista™, you will need to download OneTouch Diabetes Software v2.3.2 or higher for compatibility.
- Users must ensure that Regional Options are set to English if using the English version of OneTouch Diabetes Software v2.3.2, and set to French, if using the French version of the software.
- You must have Adobe® Reader® 5.0 or higher to view the OneTouch Diabetes Software User’s Manual.
How do I check my computer for minimum system requirements? Right-click on the "My Computer" icon and select "Properties." What version of Windows® do I need to run OneTouch Diabetes Software? OneTouch Diabetes Management Software v2.3.2 has been tested and validated to run on Microsoft® Windows® 98 Second Edition, Windows® NT 4.0 Workstation (SP6 or above), Windows® 2000 Professional (SP4 or above), Windows® Me, Windows® XP Home and Professional (SP2 or above), and Windows Vista™. Is OneTouch Diabetes Software compatible with a Macintosh® computer? No. The software is designed to work with an Windows®-compatible computer with a Pentium II processor (or greater). There are no plans to launch a Macintosh version of the software. How is the information transferred to the computer? A special cable, the OneTouch® Interface Cable, connects a OneTouch® Blood Glucose Meter (via a dataport) to a personal computer.
